Prior to the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12, 2010, Gerard Straub had vividly captured the dreadful conditions that already existed there for a documentary fi lm he was making. Immediately afterward he went back with a team of doctors who rushed in to help the countless victims. This book describes life before and after the earthquake and contains a series of refl ections from people fully engaged in helping the Haitians through their darkest days.
